Added to the OP:

Also, please limit posts to serious discussion about the chapter. It's the only Forum in which I ask you to remain on-topic. Useless comments will be deleted at my discretion.

Paul of Dune was so bad it gave me a seizure that dislocated both of my shoulders and prolapsed my anus.

Also, let's please refrain from discussing Steve and Bobo's bad fan-fiction (I'm guilty, too).
I need a drink after cleaning up Chapter 1, it took me an hour.

Re: Reading Group Usage
Can anyone verify that there are 61 chapters in Children of Dune?
I found a duplicate and renumbered them, hopefully there aren't more.

Nevermind, the duplicate chapter was where I skipped one. I added the missing chapter and I renumbered them AGAIN.

I haven't checked on the differences in awhile but do the UK editions have different numbers of chapters or just additional text within existing chapters?

I'm not aware of the differences.

Were the books that were different (additional text) just Heretics & Chapterhouse? The UK editions were floating around years ago. I think there was also a difference in the prologue in Messiah. I'm not sure about the other three books and if there is a difference or not.

I only had HoD and CH:D to compare so those are the only differences I was aware of.

Re: Reading Group Usage
I do have a physical UK 1st print hardcover copy of CoD and I just counted the chapters (only once) to a number of 64. It starts at page 9 and ends at page 444.

And that there was a different intro to DM.

Maybe it's just those two then. I've not looked into the others enough. I only knew of the different intro in Messiah. Might be worth a comparison of the others. I'll add it to my list of things to do.

Re: Reading Group Usage
It appears I skipped the second chapter of GEoD
At least there's one chapter I don't have to renumber
