Literally illiterate

Post by tenfingersofdoom »

think about it, kevrasmus j anderson has said he enjoys audiobooks more than reading, he dictahikes and you cannot prove to me that he writes the responses in his e-mail interviews. His signature is indecipherable next to Briomnius herbert who probably writes his after a bottle of his favorite red. on top of that he gives phone interviews and someone types his dictahiking brain spasms for him. he's illiterate.
Kevin J. Anderson is so stupid he thinks he invented The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen since he wrote the movie tie-in.

Is it Bear-shaped?

We still need a good photoshopper to make us a bear-shaped meteor, and we definitely need an emoticon.

I'll buy he's illiterate. Or he's channeling Scotty in ST IV, he thinks the keyboard is quaint. :) Plus in his McDune "books" he rips off only movies which don't require him being learnt any reedun or writun.
The name Atreides was also consciously chosen. It is the family name of Agamemnon. Says Herbert, "I wanted a sense of monumental aristocracy, but with tragedy hanging over them--and in our culture, Agamemnon personifies that."

I could respect that if he were *talented.* I read up a little on Jodorowski this weekend, and think that in some future I may give Metabarons a try.

Except when Scotty lowers himself to using the keyboard, he displays god-like mastery over the primitive device.
I don't think the author should make the reader do that much work - Kevin J. Anderson
We think we've updated 'Dune' for a modern readership without dumbing it down.- Brian Herbert
There’s an unwritten compact between you and the reader. If someone enters a bookstore and sets down hard earned money(energy) for your book, you owe that person some entertainment and as much more as you can give. - Frank Herbert

Not only that, he knew the chemical formula for transparent aluminium by heart.

The OP has a good point - just look at one of Keith's latest twats:
Keith wrote:up to chapter 102 on reread of HORIZON STORMS. Love the audiobook version read by George Guidall...good listening during my workout.
So when he says he's re-reading his Saggy Suns series prior to a sequel trilogy - he isn't really - he's listening to them????. And a 20-minute session of removing fluff from his navel doesn't constitute much of a fucking workout, either.

Good listening my arse - what a Wanker.
Freakzilla - "Apparently we can only aspire to be the 13th biggest Dune fan since we are not family or in the HLP."

Byron - "Are you trying to irk me?"

Whoa!!! Workout? I thought his workouts were his hours long treks into the wilderness up Mt Asshat? Is he listening to audiobooks of his own works while dictahiking Dune books? That actually explains a lot. And how fucking lazy and narcissistic do you have to be to listen to a reading of your own book that YOU "wrote" as "research" for your next book in the saga. He's having trouble keeping all the bullshit he's been spewing over the years straight in his own mind I guess. Then again real research and detailed notes are anathema to him. He's like the Mirror Universe version of Frank.
