Actually it was yellow, but my scanner did weird things with colors. It was also second volume in red, same picture - but I've never seen it. Cover by Enki Bilal I love his comics

I really like the Jesus and Lazarus covers - they catch the book settings well. Pirate covers are pretty cool too.

Well done K! Back in the day, Heavy Metal was my only source for Mobius- I couldn't get enough!Kwisatz wrote:Actually it was yellow, but my scanner did weird things with colors. It was also second volume in red, same picture - but I've never seen it. Cover by Enki Bilal I love his comics
Leto II is gone for good, except for OM. The "pearl" was just that; a miniscule portion of what Leto was, and not a compressed version of the whole. The pearl that the worms have do not make them Leto, or in any way similar to him.

I have 3 signatures of Moebius on character sketches from Jodorowski's Dune. He was in Poland 2 or 3 years ago.

1st edition of Dune Chronicles by Phantom Press (2nd of Dune itself):
(covers the same as in later Zysk's edition but some of them attached to different titles)
Left - rarer edition with full double cover:
2nd edition of Dune Chronicles by Zysk (Zysk means Profit ). Also 3 Prequels posted earlier from Zysk:
3rd edition of Dune Chronicles by Rebis (all covers and interior drawings by W. Siudmak):
(funny thing is that 2 founders of Rebis after few years have chosen different paths and one of them create new publishing house Zysk - both love Dune and both published it ) Gold lettering was not so well handled by my scanner - sorry for that.
There are also few changes to titles across the editions as you can see in Ch:D & GEoD.

Very nice. I especially liked the first cover in the following image:
Ship looks like that big city in the sky where all us good people are gonna go when Jesus comes back.

I bring nothing to the table.

I found this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... _500wt_966" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Seller told me that:
"Since that Arrakis.co.uk site (http://www.arrakis.co.uk/colpage8.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - on the bottom) has to have gotten the Ken Knutson copy as it is the only one I ever sold, it was lighter in color and while the best of that time, this is MUCH better. With Knutson he collected on every performer and paper doll so I was doing copies for him as I got the items. Alex sold his originals to me so actually I own them."
I bought a second copy
Have a nice a weekend to all of you guys and ladies! I'll be married in 4h30m and will surely have a great night

Oh no, you gotta watch out for that one! If I'd called my ex "dear" she would have kicked my ass! Unless you've got a girl that's ok with terms like "dear" or "honey" you're better off shortening it even further, just make it "yes".trang wrote:good luck and best wishes on the Marriage, Learn your best defence and soothing term fast and first

Re: Post Your FH Collection
Here's a curious edition of Dune that I've picked up: Alpha Science Fiction printed by Oxford university press. It's a heavily shortened version with only 143 pages compared to the usual 400-500 pages in other editions. That means it reads like a cheap pulp story, but was probably just meant for younger readers or perhaps those who are learning English. Do check out the elaborate glossary!

Re: Post Your FH Collection
Ha! So that's where that picture I've seen with the "worms are usually small but the worms in the book are huge" quote comes from! I've always wondered what that was.
Definitely looks like it's for people learning English, nobody who already knew the language would need a glossary like that.
