No mention of the HLP, and I don't think there's a paper copy anywhere. This would seem to fall under fair use anyway. If anyone would have a problem with it I would think that it would be the Goodnight Moon author, as it's much more derivative of that.

That confirms my suspicion that Byron is a lazy freeloader.

Sorry to say, but two little short stories in anthologies that sold, like, zero copies away from San Luis Obispo does not a writer make. That's not even enough to qualify for membership in the SFWA, which IIRC requires three published stories.

Not sure how one would illustrate him making his own water.

As movie mashups go, there's great possibility with Dune and The Ghost And Mr. Chicken.
I'm thinking David Lynch images with Don Knotts and the rest of the gang doing the sound.
