We can still remember the golden days before Heisenberg, who showed humans the
walls enclosing our predestined arguments. The lives within me find this
amusing. Knowledge, you see, has no uses without purpose, but purpose is what
builds enclosing walls.

-Leto Atreides II, His Voice

Alia chastises her priests for letting The Preacher escape. They swear that the crowd interfered. She tells them that if they kill him in the open and he turns out to be Paul, the church must officially condemn them. So, if they wish to live, he needs to be killed secretly. She dismisses them. The Baron's voice tells her she handled that well. She tells him to shut up, he's gotten her into a fine mess. He says he's set her on the road to immortality. However, he reminds her, Ghanima's knife is sharp.
