People, people, please, you've now gone off topic with refrences to American culture(lol, an oximoron  ) that I don't understand and can't enjoy.
Since this board is made for my enjoyment, and my enjoyment only, it is then imperrative that you all stop this immidietly and heil the God Emperor as your saviour! :)

There is plenty of culture in America, we brought it with us from the rest of the world and added in our own original twist.

If you don't like our literature, poetry, comic books, rock music, movies, TV, dance, visual arts, architecture, sculpture, theater, cuisine and fashion, that's your loss. But don't try to say we don't have any.

And just for your information, this forum was made for MY enjoyment.

You missed the point there, Freak, you could've just pointed out that FH was, after all, American. :P

*But he was secretly the son of God so it doesn't count*

(Edit. Shit. Did it again. This was about Tatoo, blue M&Ms and "The plain! The plain!" Sigh.)

You were doing quite well until the end. The only people who wear American fashions in the UK are chavs.

Chavs are the underbelly of British urban society, and tend to come from the shallow end of the gene pool. Only crackas are chavs.

Here are some chavs -

The only people that dress like that in the USA are black, or want to be.

The Japanese versions of such are particularly amusing.

To me at least.

Until I really think about it.

"Ooh...we SO don't want to be Asian!"

Sigh.

Dune Encyclopedia wrote:Until that time [Jessica's participation within Fremen's Seed Ceremony], the "poison" used at the Water of Life Ceremony varied with cultural traditions, but its effect had been dependent upon the individual's own preparation for the harmonious Self.

With the introduction of the Fremen Water of Life, the poison created by a drowning "maker", the strength of the catalyst changed.Increased dependence on the Fremen poison and decreased dependence on the arduous training disciplines gradually weakened the rigor of the order

So, the BG tried to avoid the effort of self-training. By doing this they became dependent on drugs...
