global warming

Post by lilliana »

How does global warming affect the marine biome? My teacher is making us do a research paper on global warming. One aspect is how it affects biodiversity in the marine biome. We need 5 plants and/or animals in this biome that are threatened by global warming. Does anyone have any sites or information that can help?

allllll-righty, then ... Omph, please do not delete this spam ....

somewhere around here, earlier today, I believe, I posted about the little brown cocksuckers in singapore and
their "forum spamming machine" ...

g'head and gooooogle "How does global warming affect the marine biome?"

these are some of the results, about as many as I could stand to look at :

http://www.safaritermitepestcontrol.com ... ine-biome/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

now, some of these links are to bullshit websites that can be automatically generated with another of
Calvin Woon's amazing internet marketing tools ... note the "responses" are all the same, on the various
sites ...

here's that scam - Calvin sells you a website generator and you throw up a bunch of seemingly real information,
the exact same shit on each site with a different format; Calvin then sells you a list of web-based businesses
that order internet ad-placing from another of Calvin's "internet marketing" "enterprises" ... you job then is to link
back and forth between your bogus sites, spam the shit out of forums, and etc, to try to get eyes to your page ...

the ad-placer gets so many pennies per millions of hits to the site containing the ad from the client, you get
a fraction of that percentage, and kick back whatever the fuck Calvin wants or hairy Samoans show up at your
house and bust-up your X-box ...

had enough ? aww, but this good entertainment goes on to page 8 ...

Calvin will also sell you the "article generator" ...

and he's got a number of other interesting scams I'll rant about later ...
I actually almost posted a bunch of this shit here earlier in the years, and contemplated calling a Jihad on this fucker
and his nut-hanger Jonathan Teng ... but then, as I got deeper into it, I saw that it was a huge thing - hundreds of
these parasites, and the bitch of it was - they really think they are doing something good. Being "successful",
making money ....

but I got fatigued and disgusted and forgot about it ... for awhile ...

so .... I understand how the fake-"information"-websites are making someone money (mainly Calvin Woon et al)

and I could understand spamming relevant forums and dropping the link to your bullshit site -
set up a bunch of cloned, plagiarized "articles" on whatever-the-fuck, dog grooming, or whatever,
and set up the forum-spammer to post the same message on every dog-related message board you can find,
with a clever thing like :
My Irish Setter has so many problems with grass burrs getting tangled in his hair. Does anyone here have
any good suggestions ? A man on http://www.doggonehair.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; said to use conditioner on it and comb it out,
but I wonder if that could harm my dog?

but .... how in the hell does the OP message help their scam ?
(other than me clicking on about a hundred of their links to track this shit down,
but I had to goooogle a specific phrase from the post ...)
there is no link in the message; but maybe those little brown cocksuckers don't yet realize that we be smart enuff to peep yo' bitch-ass ...
maybe it's "long game", they think they will drop a few innocuous posts and then the links ?
and on a very generic, polite board, that message has done nothing to justify deletion .... except that it's obviously spam ...

so .... WTF, here ?

but the sad, sad part is that after I went thru all of Calvin's websites,
and fully understood how and what he was talking about doing, and
got over my rage at realizing that this is the reason no-one
fully trusts the internet for "information", the rage at their self-stroking
personal blahgs congratulating each other on how much money they
were making without seeming to really realize that they were producing
NOTHING of any value whatsoever
, that in fact they were scamming
people, but they see this as "capitalism", and the ultimate moral outrage
that they see "success" only in a measure of profit, just like the fucking
White Imperialist Robber Barons that fucked over Southeast Asia for 500
years ....

(one of the "comments" I left on one of Calvin's brainwashed troll's blahg
went something like : Oh! How happy are the little brown people to
have come so far in the Modern World that they can lie and scam
innocent and trusting people in the name of "commerce", just like
the Great White Fathers, at whose feet thou hast learned so well!"

or something ... which is what has led me to continue to type "little brown cocksuckers" in these posts ...)

yes, friends, after all that, the really pathetic part is that for one brief moment,
I, the SandRider, did think : well, fuck ... Imma lot smarter than them coconut
crackers ... I bet I could make a buttload of money doing this ....

Yeah, generally when these posts come in with no links they plan to either add them in successive posts if the account isn't banned after a certain period of time....or they add a signature to the posts after the fact by editing it in their User CP.

As you said, the long game.

The coldest weather since February has put metro Atlanta in a deep December chill. Early morning lows dipped into the low 20s in some spots, with wind chill factors reaching the single digits. Monday's high marks wont be too far away.

Metro Atlantans woke up to temperatures in the 20s Monday morning. With the wind blowing 10-15 miles an hour, it felt between 8 and 14 degrees.

WSB Meteorologist Kirk Mellish is forecasting temperatures will stay in the 30's for most of Monday. Highs may reach 41 in some areas. Wind chills were reaching the teens early Monday.

But this may not be the worst of it. Temperatures are expected to fall even farther Tuesday. Mellish says lows will be around 20 in Atlanta, with temperatures in the teens in the northern suburbs.

Mellish said while that opens a door or window to the threat of snow and ice, it may not happen. Sunshine is in the forecast for much of the week.

– Wed Dec 8, 12:34 pm ET
PARIS (AFP) – Heavy snow briefly shut Charles de Gaulle-Roissy airport, paralysed the Paris bus network and forced the operators of the Eiffel Tower to close the landmark tourist attraction on Wednesday, officials said.

Motorists were warned that all motorways in the Paris region had become impassable and truckers were ordered to pull off the highways and wait until conditions improved.

The Interior Ministry said it had mobilised 5,000 paramilitary gendarmes, including 2,000 in the Paris area, to deal with traffic problems as roads were expected to become increasingly icy overnight.

French meteorological authorities said that 11 centimetres (over four inches) of snow fell on Paris on Wednesday, the most since 1987.

Roissy airport was closed for around an hour and a half, preventing around 100 flights taking off or landing, while workers tried to clear the runways of the heavy snow that began falling around midday, airport officials said.

One in five flights at Roissy had already been cancelled at the request of France's civil aviation authority (DGAC) due to the poor weather forecast.

The runways at Orly airport were earlier shut for about half an hour to allow workers to clear snow but there was no immediate information available on how flights at Paris' second airport were affected.

Only a handful of the 350 Paris bus routes were operating because of the snowfall in the capital, which had previously escaped the heavy snow affecting much of France since the start of the month.

The metro and overland suburban rail network were functioning normally.

The operators of the Eiffel Tower said they had already shut the first floor of the giant monument that is one of the world's most visited sites.

"But since late morning the Eiffel Tower has been completely closed and will certainly not reopen today," said a spokesman.

Salt cannot be used to fight snow or ice at the 324-metre (1,063-feet) tower because it would damage the iron structure that at this time of year gets around 12,000 visitors a day.

An early cold snap has caused severe transport disruption across Europe over the past week.

Salt cannot be used to fight snow or ice at the 324-metre (1,063-feet) tower because it would damage the iron structure that at this time of year gets around 12,000 visitors a day.

An early cold snap has caused severe transport disruption across Europe over the past week.
just to remind you and even people in Paris that France is slightly bigger than its capital, and while national media were crying their hearts out over the worst winter ever in 25 years(in truth the same as last year but hey gotta find an excuse why a bit of snow wrecked havoc), the French South was enjoying much more sunny weather.

Atlanta weather | Snow, icy roads for Christmas

By Ty Tagami and Larry Hartstein
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Just as Christmas slip slides away, so too may motorists on icy roadways.

Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brad Nitz said the snowfall that began Saturday morning will leave 1 to 3 inches on metro Atlanta, 2 to 4 inches further north.

With temperatures dropping into the mid-20s Saturday night, roads will turn icy. State Department of Transportation officials say they are prepared and will deploy crews into all parts of North Georgia, if needed.

The flurries began in Cobb County about 11:30 a.m. Within 15 minutes, it was snowing hard, and a light dusting was noticable on grassy surfaces.

At 12:30 p.m., it was still snowing hard and the ground was nearly covered with about a quarter-inch of accumulation, although the snow was still melting on the neighborhood roads. Heavy snow was falling in Paulding County at 4 p.m.

"My concern is that we'll have icy roads beginning Saturday night," Channel 2 Action News meteorologist David Chandley said. Cold air entering the state will plunge the area into a "deep freeze," he said.

Sunday's high will be just 33, and Monday's just 34, according to Nitz. Above-freezing temperatures -- low 40s -- may return Tuesday, and loosen winter's icy grip on local roadways.

North Georgia is under a Winter Storm Warning until 6 a.m. Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

This could be Atlanta's first white Christmas since the Chester Arthur administration (that was 1882 for non-historians).

While the metro area did receive a brief smattering of flurries in 1993, none of it stuck. Nearly a third of an inch was measured 128 years ago, a record that's stood ever since.

Saturday started out with a wintry mix of sleet and rain that changed to snow as dry Arctic air collided with warm clouds from the Gulf of Mexico. The wintry mix should cease by Sunday afternoon, with a high of only 38 forecast.

Just the threat of snow has wreaked havoc on travelers arriving to and departing from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The white Christmas could test travelers, icing roads and delaying flights. Delta Air Lines announced Friday that it canceled 300 flights out of Atlanta on Christmas Day and warned additional cancellations could follow. Passengers are advised to check their flight status before heading to the airport.
