Americans seem to have forgotten that animals are made of more than just muscles and bones, for shame.

Tongue is indeed tender and devine, and brain is byond that, so soft...mmmm.

Liver is great, I like it somewhat raw so it's jucier(read: bloody).

Haven't had the chance for kidney I think.

Testicles are also very soft and finger-lickin'-good.

I haven't tried lungs but that because they just looked bad when that bitch who supposedly birthed me made them once, like some sponge.

Hearts and gizzards are nice too, I think they usually just roast them on a stick around here.

But I admit there's little that beats a good ol' steak that you can chew and tear apart. *drools*

Oh, and another delicious favorite is cocks. But that's for another story.

I don't understand eating liver and kidneys now that we understand what those organs are for. :?

I would like to try heart though, sounds good.

I bought two 22 oz. Heinikens and two 250 ml Jim Beams for $9 on my way home last night. It was a long day. Still got one of each left.

The little bottles of bourbon were on sale, I had asked for a half-pint and the clerk pointed those out, good deal!

They just raised the tobacco tax here, a carton is like $40 now.

Ontario hikes tobacco taxes by $1.25 a carton
Updated Tue. Jan. 18 2005 11:24 PM ET

Canadian Press

TORONTO -- Smokers in Ontario had to cough up $1.25 more per carton of cigarettes as of midnight Tuesday as the provincial Liberal government hiked tobacco taxes for the third time since coming to office.

The increase in tobacco tax means a carton will now cost about $63. The cost of a pack of 20 cigarettes will rise about 13 cents and a pack of 25 cigarettes will go up about 16 cents, which will increase the amount paid in the federal goods and services tax. Taxes will also be higher on pipe tobacco, loose tobacco and cigars.

...

The current national average is about $30 per carton in provincial tobacco taxes, and this increase boosts Ontario to $23.45

...

some provinces are at over $35 in taxes on a carton... almost as much as your total cost!
I'm so glad i quit smokin. I use to smoke 1 or 2 packs a day...That would cost me around 80$ / week now...

My wife smokes too, like god damned freight train. However, she has been stockpiling Nicoderm and Nicotine gum.

When I quit, I'll need to be strapped down with a morphine drip.

Freak, cartons are near $50 here in Lawrence. If that isn't a sign from...somewhere...then I don't know what is.

I. HAVE. GOT. TO. QUIT.

And for the record, I believe in the food chain. Steak rocks.

I like to picture it as a funnel rather than a chain - with humans getting everything funneled into their mouths. MMMMM.... everything.

It took me years to quit smoking and make it permenant. I kept sliding back after months of not wanting one. It was the kids that did it for sure though. I finally quit for good after my boy was born.
