Yeah ... well ... I don't speak any French at all. As a Orthodoxian I feel connected to the movement, but don't want others to feel a need to write English or translate.

I have one but it's a lot smaller and has a lighter in it.

Cool ... I don't have wooden shoes myself. Never had actually. In the town where I work there are still a few old fishermen who always wear wooden shoes.

I wanted the carved, unpainted ones but they're MUCH more expensive.

But where I am people usually went for the plain ones, and I'm pretty sure there are still worn here and there.

That rug, while not that pretty, has the admirable attribute of being able to withstand being taken outside and hosed down. Perfect for the (eventually-)single father of three.
