I feel the need to learn French, google translate is on my favorites now. :)
Leto II is gone for good, except for OM. The "pearl" was just that; a miniscule portion of what Leto was, and not a compressed version of the whole. The pearl that the worms have do not make them Leto, or in any way similar to him.

Yeah ... well ... I don't speak any French at all. As a Orthodoxian I feel connected to the movement, but don't want others to feel a need to write English or translate. :)

Cool ... I don't have wooden shoes myself. Never had actually. In the town where I work there are still a few old fishermen who always wear wooden shoes.

I wanted the carved, unpainted ones but they're MUCH more expensive.

              fancy !

Those come from an area pretty close to where I come from in France
              Image

But where I am people usually went for the plain ones, and I'm pretty sure there are still worn here and there.

I got the shoes in Holland, the rug I got in a set of three from Big Lots (along with most of my furnishings). www.biglots.com

That rug, while not that pretty, has the admirable attribute of being able to withstand being taken outside and hosed down. Perfect for the (eventually-)single father of three.

              Plus...

It really ties the room together. 8)
