I was a friend of Frank.
He taught me that we must shape ourselves to serve the world that will be, not that which is or was.
He taught me that if we see the future as being set, part of our shaping must be to open up to its possibilities and to unset it.
He taught me that in order to be responsible for the largest things we must become attentive and accountable for the smallest.

I was a friend of Frank, he taught me that what is unsaid is more complex than words.
And he gave me the Cast Out to honour his memory with.

He was a friend of mine
Every time I think about him now
Lord I just can't keep from cryin'
'Cause he was a friend of mine
