"A Matter of Traces," 1958, short story.*
"The Tactful Saboteur," 1964, novelette.*
Whipping Star, 1970, novel.
Dosadi Experiment, 1977, novel.

*Both were republished as part of the short story anthology titled Eye in 1985.

(Btw, Frank Herbert stated in an interview shortly before he passed away that he was considering a Dune prequel, but only as a novelette.)

The following list is for your reference so you can compare the publishing dates:

Dune, 1965, novel.
Dune Messiah, 1960, novel.
Children of Dune, 1976, novel.
God Emperor of Dune, 1981, novel.

Work in progress...

Errm, far be from me to complain about including Dune novels in a list of, err, NON-Dune novels, but wouldn't it be better if the list was without them? Putting them in a brighter color only makes it worse by hightening them. You'd be better off ignoring them so you can see at a glance what books you've already included.

Also, design wise(I'm sure you're planning anyway, as it's WIP but edvising doesn't hurt...much), you should perhaps give each book a little entry(title with year etc, and a synopsis).
