Nice tartan pattern, Rob. Cool green. Nice lines. Large squares. But them legs? I dunno. Lookin' awfully pale! I had to wear sunglasses just to look at them on my computer screen.

Ha, might as well remove the H too in that case. One of the few words with an H at the beginning that us north americans still pronounce right.
Anyways there's a U in the giant HONOUR tattoo'd across my stomach, so I'm gonna have to stick to my guns on this one, or break out the laser.

It is good that the Canadians can still spell, unlike their Southern friends.

With an "SH" or a "SK"?
I'm not even sure which is the original.

Have you got any more pictures of that guy?

Things I didn't like about the books -

Leto spinning Alia around by her ankle. Just seemed really childish.
Hwi's gushiness.
Frank croaking before he finished, opening the way for the Comb-Over to ruin everything.

Wouldn't that be "Frank producing that vile abomination which is Brian"?

He probably just hasn't met the right guy. Try to persuade to take his top off on the next picture.

Oh yes, I can see it coming: Rob in his skirt(uh, kilt) trying to persuade some guy to take off his shirt for a picture.

Good knowing you, Rob.

And besides, he looks like a goon, what's so great about him, CL?

There is nothing I would change in Dune; it is so riveting and the characters are so compelling. The other books don't quite live up to the first, but I still love them.

I guess I have a few things that bug me in GEoD. Hwi needs to be slapped and I want to slap Duncan when he gets so priggish. I never warmed up to Leto as I did to Paul, but that is the point in the end. Now I see it as the pivotal novel in the series since the Golden Path and the Scattering are so crucial to the Dune universe. Still, I sometimes skip over the Hwi-Leto discussions of how they make up for the lack of physical contact!

He just got back from Hawaii nd is suppose to get me some pics, he knows they are for Cl, so we'll see if he keeps his word.

Some of those conversations have some key points on why Leto did what he did, but you're right. Some of them are disgusting. "Oh, I feel so sorry for you, Lord", "Oh, that's why I love you so much".
