it was mid-80's in los angeles
frank made it onto a rock music stations late night show for an interview about his latest book, chapterhouse
at the time id read the first 4 books
had them in a set
had no idea heretics existed
what I remember most was frank telling santag that he was amazed that one of his characters had taken on a life of its own and was writing himself
much to his original stories surprise
he said it was Duncan Idaho
any other similar statements of his around?
