Book-based Dune cosplay

Post by Ayykawkab »

How much solid information from the books do we have on how Paul appeared? I'm considering a cosplay of Paul from around the time of Dune Messiah, before the stone burner incident.

"Why do you wear that old jacket?" she'd demanded, eyeing the black uniform
coat with its red hawk crest beneath his Fremen robes. "You're an Emperor!"
"Even an Emperor has his favorite clothing," he'd said.

Exactly the kind of thing I was after, thanks Freakzilla! I was thinking of getting a nineteenth century looking shirt and adding a red hawk Atreides logo to it. Now I'm trying to imagine what this jacket might look like.

Imagining the Fremen robe he favours being very plain and brown, maybe with a hood.

A military style tunic:

Absolutely a robe with a hood, and as long as possible. The idea being to keep the sun of the stilsuit.
