Forewords & epilogues in new ACE hardcover edition of 6Dunes

Post by Kwisatz »

Hello,

I have a kind request if anyone has this new hardcover edition of original 6 Dunes and could send me photos or scans of forewords and epilogues written by Brian?

We need to know the texts before negotiating with polish publisher about reedition of Dune saga.

Thanks in advance for any help ;)

Um... isn't that a request better directed at the HLP?

It'll be requested to HLP if we decided to use these texts.

how can you do that with a straight face ?

Merritt wouldn't even know who to forward the request to, if he was so inclined ...

Good question. I left my copy of the Official Corporate Dune Charter in the Camry,
and Kim took it to the beach. Just like a girl, huh? The number for the Lawyer-guy
in New York City that signs all the checks was on the cell phone she dropped in the
toilet. Kids! Whatcha gonna do?

:?:

Sorry, I guess I'm missing something here:
We need to know the texts before negotiating with polish publisher about reedition of Dune saga.
Forgive me if I don't exactly recall who the you and "we" might be, but it seems to me the HLP or their American or British publishers would be involved in any negotiations about a "reedition" of even a Polish version of the books.

Because it's not clear to me what's going on and I'd rather not hear about yet another group of foreign Dune fans & supporters get screwed over by the HLP. ;)

Simple misunderstanding. We (fans who contributed in various ways in polish edition) would like to negotiate additional content in enriched next printing of polish Dune with our polish publisher. If the polish publisher decide to add this content, he'd also negotiate the terms with HLP.

Wouldn't it be better if an introduction was written by someone who understood Dune?
