Muad'dib - Wednesday Comic Format

Post by Lisan Al-Gaib »

Fucking awesome. I want this guy doing a whole adaptation of Dune for comics.

Look.

For me, he captured the essence of the series only with this little inside story.

What do you think?

No. as an OH I cannot condone this comic as he got the sky color completely wrong and the old Fremen is not wearing his face mask on the open bled.

/sarcasm

Amazing how in 8 short panels this invokes more of the Dune Spirit than all 10 volumes of KJA.

Hmm, I didn't know FH had read anything post Dune...

I listened to this in the most recent COD audiobook (rather good) yesterday. :P

That is excellent though. Can imagine it as a poster too...

Amazing. Very close to my vision of Paul.

Looks like Simon has some competition...

I don't remember which books he all reads from in the 4 vinyl records I have. My and Omph are going to get them uploaded for everyone soon.

There are audio albums from Heretics and Chapterhouse where Frank reads too.

legitimate point

still, much much better than Simon.

disclaimer for truth:
I don't like Simon, as a person,
so much like tehKJA, there is
little to nothing he could do
that would please me.

except die in a fire.

disclaimer
OK, maybe not die in a fire,
but atleast scorch his peachfuzz
and scream like a little girl until
someone pees on him to put him out ....

mmmmm'kay ?

Want :D

The only FH reading I have is an old .au file of him reading Paul and Gurney's shield fight. "Underhanded counter with a slip tip" sounds awesome :P

Go on ebay and start hunting. These are the 4 records I own, there is at least one more I haven't gotten my hands on where he reads from Heretics.

There is also a cassette package that has all four of those above on tapes. I have the tapes and have listened to them all, but eventually they broke.

True. But we could tell him that and ask him to do more. I think the guy would fell much more fascinated to go on with people praising his work.

Yeah, I'm kinda looking around for a good topic. Since I stopped following TheKJAckoff's Twatterage and his blawg, and am almost completely bored by Myron's stupidity over on Dumb Novels, there's not a lot at the moment to "hate on"! :P

The sky color is good in the two full frames and Fremen often remove their facemask when talking.

I notice, but what you said is true. With or without sarcasm. But if we made a good critic, everybody wins.

I just wanted to make sure that people didn't take it as being completely critical because I loved the representation. :D
