At the beginning of the transformation (like when a scene like THAT would be happening), was the time when Leto was too consumed with his hunger right? I just figured he never really thought about sex. Is a 9 year old boy's body already hormonal? Even if it was, did the transformation prevent that? Half the reason why kids get so crazy about it is curiosity about the newness of it and sex was definitely not new to Leto. In GEoD he just laughs when Siona acts like it's a big deal that he can't have sex.
