Immunity via spice(cinnamon anyway)

Post by Molluskapod »

Just saw an article which reminded me of Dune. Maybe spice granting immunity isn't so far-fetched.

A rose by any other name...

You must have swallowed too many of those rose petals while you were bathing in them. :P

YOU should be very, very careful in the images you choose to invoke...

Returning to the OP, other than "a certain natural immunity to some of the most common poisons of the Assassins' Handbook", is there really anything about the spice "granting immunity" to disease in general? It has geriatric effects, to be sure, but the immunity to disease, in the case of the Bene Gesserit at least and insofar as I have understood it, is more a result of their training in bodily control and the awareness gained in the Agony.

Know of any other related quotes?
