I'm in the middle of painting the transformation of arrakis for a project...

anyone remember if there are specific quotes talking about how arrakis looked from space after Leto transformed it?
I think he says something about the Idaho river being completely straight.

The Idaho River was not wide here, no more than fifty meters, a gently sweeping curve with sandy indentations fringed by roots and shelving banks of lush reeds and grass where the water refused to stay in the straight lines Leto's engineers had designed.

The road from the desert ran laser-beam straight until it reached this point where it curved widely and dipped into terraced canyons before crossing the Idaho River.

Everyone in today's village knew that just beyond the Sareer's boundary wall the Idaho River slid southward in a long straight line which would be silver now in the moonlight.
