"You only live twice Mr. Bond"

It's the one where Bond gets 'killed' and buried at sea at the beginning.

The Bonds in the 60's were definitely filled with silly sexual innuendo. No surprise really, given the time period. Goldfinger and Thunderball do sound like porn titles. I have to agree that most of the Bond films had silly titles. This isn't a franchise that is new to bad film titles :)

On another note, I was having some fun with the website features of the Internet Movie Database (IMDB) ratings list and did one for the Bond films. For anyone who is curious about the user ratings, here they are:

8.0 Casino Royale (2006)
7.9 Goldfinger (1964)
7.5 From Russia with Love (1963)
7.3 Dr. No (1962)
7.2 Quantum of Solace (2008)
7.1 GoldenEye (1995)
7.1 The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)
7.0 You Only Live Twice (1967)
7.0 Thunderball (1965)
6.9 On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969)
6.8 For Your Eyes Only (1981)
6.8 Live and Let Die (1973)
6.7 The Living Daylights (1987)
6.7 Diamonds Are Forever (1971)
6.6 The Man with the Golden Gun (1974)
6.5 Licence to Kill (1989)
6.5 Octopussy (1983)
6.4 Tomorrow Never Dies (1997)
6.3 The World Is Not Enough (1999)
6.1 A View to a Kill (1985)
6.1 Moonraker (1979)
6.0 Die Another Day (2002)
6.0 Never Say Never Again (1983)
5.1 Casino Royale (1967)

My three favorites (Goldfinger, Goldeneye and Casino Royale) made the top 10 :)

Wait a minute, wait, wait...Ah, there we go.

Anyway, You liked GOLDENEYE? i never saw it myself, But, really?

I like Sean Connery and Dnaiel Craig, the others I can barely (And in some cases can't) stand.

Goldeneye was a bit rubbish.. but it was a bit clever about the fact the cold war had ended - how bond was a relic etc. Some good bits. [edit: ...actually quite a few good bits come to think of it... ]

For me though You Only Live Twice (best set design ever), Casino Royale and I quite liked License to Kill :P The rest just merge into one long ski-scuba-car-chase with lots of shooting and people being beaten up.

I liked the fundamentals embodied in Brosnan's Bond and enjoyed the new take on his circumstances (post-Cold War, female boss, etc). Plus Brosnan was perfect for the role. The casting for Goldeneye was also brilliant, with ever engaging Sean Bean playing a perfect Bond villain as Trevelyan, the always watchable Robbie Coltrane as the hilarious Valentine and Judi Dench ate up the role as M. I know Goldeneye, and Brosnan in particular, are under scrutiny given the reboot of the franchise and the major shift of cinematic/dramatic styles in our new reality-obsessed media. But much like Connery, I have nothing but fondness for Brosnan's Bond and though Goldfinger and Goldeneye have aged, I'll always love those particular Bond films. Eventually Casino Royale will be dated as well and when cinematic/dramatic styles change yet again, Craig's Bond will be criticized as too stoic, humorless and lacking refinement. It's just the way popular style works; it cyclical. :)

Plus I admit it's a guilty pleasure I have enjoying Martin Campbell's films (he directed Mask of Zorro, Goldeneye and Casino Royale) :)
