" Nature beauteous form
Contains a lovely essence
Called by some- decay
By this lovely presence
New life finds its way.
Tears shed silently
Are but water of soul
They bring new life
To the pain of being--
A separation from that seeing
Which death makes whole."

I was a might drunk last night.
My first reply was:
"No, I'd rather come over to you're house and stick a crysknife in you're eye."
That seemed just a little mean, so I edited.
The result was the best I could do.
Sorry.

That's OK. I know I shouldn't post when I get drunk but I usually do anyway. I just make sure I get REALLY drunk so it's obvious.

That depends on what kind of whiskey it is.

At least you guys do productive stuff with your pot smoking.

I was talking to a buddy of mine, he said when he smokes it, he just sits there in a trance. I constantly berate him for not getting his "Expanded Conusness"

Damn. Simon was just here. I guess he used up all his
energy defending the new books over on his thread.
I was kinda looking forward to seeing a post from him here.

I'm starting to like that kid, god help me. The poor little
geek, he can't argue worth a damn, he's not very good at insults,
he's a terrible artist, he doesn't know when to suck ass and when to
lash out, and goodgod is he ugly.

But he won't quit. He keeps coming back for more. And he seems
to be sticking to his point, whatever that is. Is that heart or
brain damage ?

He has a lot of heart, you have to give him that.

Your comment made me think of some people I ran around with when I first got over here. Nice girl from Oz took up with this young art major, a really nice kid. They got along great and everyone liked him and eventually he invited us all to one of his shows, the first time most of us had seen any of his stuff.

It was ghastly.

I mean, the kind of scene where people are either wandering around in a daze, bug-eyed, jaws dragging, or are clumped around the buffet table, staring at the wall and feeding their faces and calculating the odds of making it to the door without having to talk to the artist.

I overheard someone saying to the girl, "He's a great guy and all but for godssake, Laura, from now on keep him in bed and out of the studio!"

None of which has anything to do with the topic at hand. ;)
