Nothing to do With Anything

Post by A Thing of Eternity »

Man I love having a great Indian dinner (in this case vegitarian) with Gulab Jamun to finish it off. I love living in Punjabi Town! Now to watch Battlestar Galactica. (sorry to have wasted you time reading this, but hey, the title kinda warned you :D )

Nobody tell me anything! I leave this show alone every season until it comes out on DVD so I can watch it on my time, the risk of spoilers is great, but I prefer it to watching the show weekly.

There's supposedly a Sri Lankan place coming in ... some day near work.

First noticed they'd fixed up an old restaurant (that had closed down) with a new paint job and colorful awnings and new windows and doors back in March, and figured it would open in April in conjunction with the start of the new academic year....

But April came and went...and then May...and now June is almost here and there was still no sign of preparation on Thursday when I last went by; still had the "Careful: Glass!" stickers on the doors; and no sign of a sign announcing an opening date.

I'm quite content with the little hybrid French place I usually go to (where Mr Teg swills coffee like a condemned prisoner), but a spicy alternative would be nice sometimes.

Sigh.... :(

I didn't know there were two of you guys in Japan. I've been to Japan for about an hour (seriously) I've always wanted to tour there but that's a bit hard now that I don't play anymore.

Oh, yes. Two we are.

Mr Teg superspeeds up from his abode in the Palmeries to Sietch Tigr, here in the NPR (Northern Polar Region). After a leisurely lunch (or coffee dunking, in his case  ) we pop over to the studios of Radio Free Arrakeen and lay down our podcast tracks. :D

It's a hard life, but somebody's gotta do it. 8)

You remind me of the "coal mining" sketch, Chig.

Yesterday night I spent two and a half hours with the dog; 30 min' walking, then 2 hours playing with a cuddly little german shepherd puppy.
Well, that and warming my way into the heart of her(hotty!) owners...or at least that's what I'll say to sound cooler. 8)

It IS cooler than just playing for 2 hours with some stranger's dog, right? Right?! :o Oh, just creepy and pathetic? :(

Puppies!!!

You'd get along with my girl, she loves puppies to an extreme. On the other hand she's brown so you might shout "terrorist" and run!

Err, brown? :?

Well, we'll have to see if I'll get along with her...

Is it bad that I'll be more into petting the puppies then trying to pet her?

Nope, works for me. And if it'll make you feel better she's Indian (and Ukrainian and Scottish and Mongolian and) , not Arab.

I got a brown one too. And two half-brown kids. Chinese, Filipino, Spanish and Moroccan. Were a regular united colors of Benetton with what I bring to the table too.

Hurray for the Mutts! They make for beautiful women. I don't plan on mating but I like to see some good crossbreeds out there, good for the gene pool. I'm supposedly Ukrainian and British but with the red hair it's obvious the vikings were doing some raping and plilaging on boths sides.

Sorry Orald, with all your refering to arabic as "terrorist" I assumed you'd prefer Indians.

I have no real prejudice(sp?) against any kind of people, only a realistic view of cultural and social trends.
After all, it doesn't do you any good(especially here) to pretend Bin Laden is Chinese.

But as for women, though I like all kinds(and many ages too, Mandy  ) I do prefer pale ones...and redheads.

I know, I was just joking, I wouldn't want you to think I meant that! As far as prejudice, I think everyone has some in some form, it's how one lets that effect one's behaviour which counts.

Well, of course everyone's got some prejudice about anything there is in the world, like I'd expect the sun to rise in the east and leftists to remain clueless.

I haven't ever seen the new BS:G

I grew up on the original and just didn't catch the "feva" when the new version came out...
