Listen to the beginning music on this trailer and let me know if it sounds familiar to you, too ...

I don't have appropriate plugins to watch that, and I'm not bothering downloading any to see this one thing.

All the trailers I've seen are just Indiana Jones music, though.

Why, looking for a high-profile lawsuit?

(So very litigious of late! Not getting enough roughage? ;) )

Sorry, I'll have a listen tomorrow from the office during break; it takes too long to download media on this old machine.

Its probably some public domain music, or was bought from a 3rd party by everone.

An another note, the new IJ movie was both good and bad. It blew the Franchise to hell, and fucked up my view of Indiana Jones and the movies.

However, this was purely because it was rather... weird.. close to the end. It was overall, a good movie, with fun fight scenes, and other such stuff.

Well worth the 6.50.

I reviewed it recently. Sounds like we agree on it. I gave it three stars.

Does it have a sub-plot involving a pretty yet clueless hottie who takes a job as a nanny with a rich Manhattan family to make ends meet, learns a valuable lesson about life, and lands the sensitive and intelligent quarterback-type? No? Prolly not then.

Let's just say that I married my opposite, and leave it at that.

I enjoyed IJ:atKotCS. I went to see it opening night and again the next day. :D

It was good for what it was, a summer movie. My only complaint is the same as my complaint about AVP:R.

To many tips of the cap to the other films. Way to freakin' many...

Still, I recommend it, the only thing that's going to top it this summer is the Dark Knight :P 8)

I just saw Indy4 last night. I enjoyed it a lot; it was a lot of fun.

Sure, the fridge scene and the swinging vine scene were over the top, but all the movies have ridiculous scenes. (Actually, I think the fridge scene would have been better if they'd just played it for laughs, but the scene turned too sombre with Indy standing in front of the mushroom cloud). The maguffin this time was a bit weirder than those in the other movies, but it didn't bother me too much.

What won me over was that it *felt* like an Indy movie. Ford was an older and wiser Indy, but he still had the stuff. The action was there, the fight scenes were there, the cool puzzles were there and there were some great lines. Sure, it wasn't perfect, but it hit much more than it missed.

Did they need to bring back Indy? No, the original three movie could have stood on their own. But did they do any harm in doing so? I don't think so. Ford was Indy, and more importantly, Indy was Indy.

If they make another one, I'd go see it.

I saw bits and pieces of it on the plane back to the States. (Also saw Hancock on the way back to Japan. Plthththth...feh!)

The alien BS at the end was just too over the top for me. ("And the Ark of the Covenant stuff in the first one wasn't?!" Well, yeah, but that was long ago and a different time. That movie rocked. ;) )

I only liked the first two. The Last Crusade just didn't turn me on. I haven't seen the latest one yet.

The third one has some great moments, but I thought it was trying too hard. Ford and Connery were hamming it up just a tad too much in some scenes as well.

Re: the alien BS. Yeah, it required a greater suspension of belief than the Ark or the Grail did, admittedly, but it was only the final CG-fest that bugged me - and only because I thought it was unnecessary.
