Waiter! Bring us a pitcher of beer every fifteen minutes until someone passes out... then bring one every ten minutes.

Did I snub you too? I don't remember that. Sorry, man. The only person from the board that I have met is Teg, and that's because his hometown is my current town. I went through a "grumpy" phase where I didn't want to go anywhere or do anything. But I'm over it now.

I am definitely going to get a room at WorldCon/Renovation in Reno, NV in 2011. All of you (well, most of you) are welcome to stop by.

August 17-21, 2011.

Might be cutting it kinda close, but probably doable...

Will there be hacks and stupid Herbert/Merritts?!

First I've heard of it.

It's not a complete surprise; Reno/Tahoe bids on conventions all the time. But I've never heard of the Powers What Is ever going after something in the SF/Fantasy/Genre area. Hell, until very recently we didn't even have one of those lame gaming/comics conventions that every other mid-sized town has had for about 30 years.

Interesting development. Hey, I wonder if The Journeyman will show up? Or, dare I hope that Reno is close enough for Brian "Catch The Train" Herbert to attend? We did just rebuild the train station ...

I'm sure it will be a target rich environment.

send him an invite; ask him to bring "The Notes" ... and lawyers ....

I've just retained Frank Walden to sue the shit outta the HLP in the Name of Allah ...

Just watched Robotech: Shadow Chronicles on Crackle.

Not bad. Whoever drew that was a obviously a big-titty fan.

No resemblance to Robotech but ok.

How did the kids like Star Blazers?

My oldest boy liked it, younger kids were kinda, meh. The animation is SO dated. It was more of a nostalgia thing for me. :P

OK, Macross II sucks... but I just found the complete Robotech season 1 (25 episodes)

Season 1 was 36 episodes, The different Robotech saga were a total of 85 episodes.

I have the first go around of releases from ADV for Robotech and the original Macross Saga from Japan, without any of the stuff cut out. Good times, good times.

Enjoy the nostalgia Freak.

you're right, it IS 85! Just 25 on the first page.

Kids seem to like it much more than Star Blazers.

I need seven of the 21 novels that were published. They were even better than the show. You should be able to pick them up in used book stores.

Now, is that 85 episodes the three series (Macross, Mespiada and Southern Cross?)?

Yes, 85 for the three different series, they needed something like 60 ish episodes in order to be syndicated.
