Only checked out the 2001 article so far, but it looks well written.
In memory of Perach, who suffered and died needlessly.

I wish I could have been with you that one last time.

I love Soylent Green...maybe we are not right there eating human that looks like green processed cheese (Hmmmmm...processed cheese...) but for me it's the parallel with the constant paranoia of what we eat and what it is made of...

I think that reality-western-attraction park movie with Yul Brenner could have made the list also...just for fun...

Yeah, eerily relevant. That was a good choice for prophetic.

THX 1138 could have been a realistic choice.

Umm, isn't THX 1138 about repression of emotions? Remind me again how this is realistic today or the near future? :?

Its also about a repressive government and a very slanted legal system.

What's prophetic about that? That's been the case since whenever governments were created. But if you mean surveillance etc, the 70's and even earlier already had this. Wasn't Watergate all about abuse of surveillance?

IDK, Westworld was boring, uninspired and looked like a B movie.

Basically it's based on such things as Asimov's robot stories, and not well done either. Speaking of which, I, Robot with Will Smith sucked, and I dare you contradict me!
