Robot Dog
Though Boston Dynamics has released videos of this fella before, this is the newest video clip and well worth a look for those who might not have seen it before.

It's cool, noisy and kinda creepy

Re: Robot Dog
Creepy indeed...as if they cut the dog in half on the horizontal (pukin smiley, damit!) and put some robotics on top...i don't know why, but this makes me think of the movie The Cell with Jello, when they split the horse in many pieces... kewl...GamePlayer wrote:Though Boston Dynamics has released videos of this fella before, this is the newest video clip and well worth a look for those who might not have seen it before.

A friend of mine who's an army medic has a picture of a severed dog head from an autopsy(sp?) they made in training.
He put it on some lame social-network among his profile pictures...then he wonders why he ain't finding any chicks there.

In memory of Perach, who suffered and died needlessly.
I wish I could have been with you that one last time.

It is kinda strange and morbid looking, I'll grant you that. It's like natural movement, but not quite. An attack of the "Uncanny Valley" so they say.

Well, on the up side, it's not a cat getting milked for an antidote...GamePlayer wrote:Yeah, more smileysRakis wrote:Creepy indeed...as if they cut the dog in half on the horizontal (pukin smiley, damit!) and put some robotics on top...i don't know why, but this makes me think of the movie The Cell with Jello, when they split the horse in many pieces... kewl...

When reading this I was reminded of the "split dog" in Return of the Living Dead II.orald wrote:A friend of mine who's an army medic has a picture of a severed dog head from an autopsy(sp?) they made in training.
