I had a visit to Hairy Ticks recently. Made me very nostalgic for old times.

I miss his posts and his way with words.

Sorry, search results says I don't have permissions but I take it that he is still posting. It's a bummer his website hasn't been updated. I loved reading his blog postings. I wish he would have won the battle after reaidng Mentats of Dune.

I triedca lling him back in June but only reached the answer machine. Left a message but no reply.

I think Jacurutu and the Jihad in general lost its usefulness to him
after he returned from Japan. I think he used this forum and other
internet activity to keep himself in touch with American culture and
so forth. He was, after all, living in fairly isolated part of the country,
A Stranger in a Strange Land and all.

Saying "He's dead" like that may have been a little much, and I hope he's doing ALRIGHT. That guy was really cool,the way I remember him, and funny, and smart, and I liked reading what he had to write, and I hope he makes a comeback. ¿Who knows? Maybe he's locked up and doing a short stretch. Later, guys.
