JFK 50

Post by SandRider »

since my "9/11 Answers" thread was soooo popular,
I done decided to start a JFK thread ... being that this November
will be the 50th anniversary of the assassination &etc. ....

now, know all Ye Who Enter Here, that I do, in fact, value & cherish
every single thought expressed in this sietch by My OH Brethren,
no matter how wrong-headed, foolish, profound or earth-shakingly
wise .... & while I AM the Judge of the Change, I donot Judge or
Accuse any of their honest-hearts beliefs or opinions ....

so ... & I will do my Upmost Best to Uphold this Pledge: I will now
Open This Thread for (maybe) 5 days-to-a-week for any and all to
post their opinions on the Said Topic ... before I done get srs & school
y'all on What Really Went Down ...

I don't know who did it but I do believe Oswald was just a scapegoat. Even if it is possible for three shots to be fired so quickly with such accuracy, I seemed to recall that there was a better spot on the route which would have provided a clearer shot than that from the bookstore/warehouse.

Which all of this happened before I was even a gleam in either of my parents' eyes so all I know about it is what I've seen in different 'documentaries.'

I think I do believe that our own government knows more about it that it ever admitted to know.

I have seen just about every documentary and film related to the topic and what it boils down to me is:

Fact : JFK was shot and killed

other than that, it seems wide open, to this day.

The only time KJA is not AFK is when he's trying to justify his existence to critics which probably takes up more and more of his time when he's nearing a release date for one of his books.

JFK on the other hand probably shot himself.

Okay ... #1 - the Warren Commission's "single bullet theory",
the second shot fired by Oswald from the Sixth Floor of the
Texas School Depository, which entered JFK 5 inches below
the neckline in his back, exited his throat and went on to
enter Governor Connelly under his right armpit, exit his chest
below the right nipple, penetrate his right wrist and lodge in
the Governor's left thigh is completely plausible and
entirely possible .... IF the trajectory is back-traced
using the correct angles & positions of the two men ... a
trajectory that leads directly back to the third floor of the
Dal-Tex building.

Personally, I think there was only one shooter - Oswald. He may have been part of a larger group, so there could well have been a conspiracy in that way. But I don't think the CIA or the "military industrlal complex" or whatever were involved.

As for the shooting angle, I think the positions of the president and the governor were such that they weren't lined up precisely parallel to the sides of the limousine. The governor was slightly to the president's left, and seated lower down. Hence, the angle from the TSBD is feasible, depending on how the limousine was negotiating the curve of that road.

did you look at the diagram?

the position of the limo is correct & in accordance w/ the Zapruder,
Nix & Mooreman films ... the downward slope of Elm Street (2 degrees)
is also figured in ... the positions of JFK & Gov. Connally are as correct
as they can be ....

the only question is: did a single shot cause the 7 wounds?
if so, the shot could not possibly have been made from the 6th floor
of the Texas Schoolbook Depository; the correct back-tracing of the
trajectory leads back to the third floor of the Dal-tex ....

if a single bullet did not cause the 7 wounds, then this line of reasoning
is moot ... as is the entire basis for the Warren Commission's findings ...

I did see the street diagram; I did not notice the diagram of the car.

This is interesting, but I'd have to ask: how much would the position and alignment of the two men's torsos and/or the limousine have to change for the line of sight to shift 12 degrees, and is that within the range of error of the calculation made from the films? It wouldn't take much of a lean or twist of either man to cause that, it seems to me, and the quality of the films are not that great. There's also the question of how much the bullet would have been deflected by the impact to the presidents body.

Im not saying this calculation is wrong; but I think to conclusively accept it over the TSBD trajectory requires compelling evidence.

Edited to add: Incidentally, I would be equally skeptical of a calculation like this that claimed to be conclusive proof that the shot came from the Depository.
