What's wrong with that? I've got comics I put into plastic over 20 years ago. 8)

Taking care of comics is like taking care of a pet without all the mess.

He seems to like The Punisher a LOT.

I think the "Robot Killer" books looked interesting. ;)

No, the Yamato is in my avatar. Why did they whack out the new one like that?
EDIT: Rob beat me too it! Star Blazers was the primary catalyst in my love for science fiction, after seeing Star Wars in the theater at 2 weeks old.

I love my 'nook color'. I put it in quotes because I rooted the heck out of it. Someone's also rooted the new simple touch e-ink nook to play angry birds.

back on topic, is the Live Action Yamato coming stateside?

I watched it last night. It's a very slushy blockbuster movie, but the japaneses delivery it very well. The actor who does Captain Okita is good and made me remember Commader Adama (BSG).

The CGI is nice, the battleship Yamato was very detailed, but the figthers didn't shows up very much.

The great surprises are what the gamillions are, but the end is very shocking.

I encourage every fan to watch it.
The singular multiplicity of this universe draws my deepest attention. It is a thing of ultimate beauty.

I'd say 10-11 would be a good time to get started. Before that they might not realize just how cool it really is. I remember having X-Men comics before that age but I didn't really get it and start collecting until around 10-11.

Amp, so far no dvd of the live action movie. You can get the blu-ray from various retailers though. The Blu ray region coding has the US and Japan in the same region. Or you could get it from...more shady sources, 1080p and all.
