Jeezuss freakin' chrisss, Daredevil's Punisher on the Netflix series is one of the best I've ever seen in movies/tv.
Binged half way through then decided to save some for later :)

Season 2 was great. I bet we see the Punisher again and again now.

The Kingpin is amazing, I never thought they would manage to make him come to life in such a realistic manner, considering the source material.

I know, right?
Um, is there an in universe explanation for why he's so ridiculously strong? He seems to just be a fat older gentleman, but he's benching pretty heavy weights.

Season two of Fargo, it's as good as the first. Not so much of the black humour this time round but there's a lovely wee part for the mighty Bruce Campbell.

Now Game of Thrones is back in the rotation.

Thought the first episode was a bit dry though.

Been catching up on Netflix Marvel series, but in the wrong order. Liked Daredevil Season 1, stalled halfway through season 2, now watching Jessica Jones which I like better than either DD season. The problem i have with DD is that the villains are so much more interesting than the good guys that I don't want/need the good guys to win. JJ doesn't have that problem.

Also tried to watch Quantico, but bailed after ep 3 or 4. It was dumb.

I'm still very proud of The Quarry but … let's face it; in the end the real best way to sign off would have been with a great big rollicking Culture novel.

UPDATE 2016.05.15:
Robotech is now live, streaming and free at http://www.crackle.com/robotech" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;!

ORIGINAL STORY 2016.05.11:

CRACKLE ACQUIRES POPULAR SCIENCE FICTION ANIME FRANCHISE ‘ROBOTECH,’ FOLLOWING 30TH ANNIVERSARY

FRANCHISE TO ANCHOR NETWORKS ANIME CHANNEL BEGINNING MAY 15TH

Stream for Free Starting May 15th Using the Crackle App for TVs, Connected Devices, Game Consoles and Mobile Devices or Online

CULVER CITY, Calif. (May 11, 2016) – Crackle, Sony’s free streaming network, announced today that they have acquired the complete series to Harmony Gold’s popular ‘80s anime series “Robotech,” as well as the feature film Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles. Beginning May 15th, all 85 half-hour episodes of “Robotech,” along with the 88 minute feature film, which are both distributed worldwide by global entertainment company Content Media, will anchor “Crackle Anime,” one of the networks new genre channels that also features additional categories including Comedy, Action, Drama, Thriller, Sports and Fandom.

Originally released in 1985, “Robotech” is a sweeping science-fiction anime epic in which the human race finds itself on the brink of annihilation and under attack by a fleet of gigantic alien warships capable of destroying the Earth in a split second. Their only hope for survival lies within the secrets of Robotechnology, which allows humans to develop powerful transforming robotic systems and interstellar spacecraft. The critically-acclaimed U.S. TV series follows three generations of heroic characters who adapt this robotic technology from a crashed alien starship to defend against numerous alien invasions.

2016 is also the 10th anniversary of the animated film Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles, which was released in 2006 and features the voices of Richard Epcar (“Ghost in the Shell,” Mortal Kombat X), Eddie Frierson (FROZEN, MONEYBALL) and Mark Hamill (STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII). The premise continues where the television series left off: In the year 2044 AD, the human race has reached out to the stars through the miracle of Robotechnology, but not without bringing intergalactic war upon the Earth itself.

Quantico looks like total shit. I remember when they were first promoting it the only thing they could say about the show was that the people who were in it were beautiful. I'm like, "yea. That's not going to work."

Yeah, not beautiful enough to make up for the terrible acting, weak premise, and woeful script. And that's saying something, given that the main character is stunningly gorgeous from just about every angle.

Agreed! But I also quit watching after 5 or 6 episodes.

Season 6 of Thrones has convinced me that the show runners just cannot do the show without GRRM. The fact that they don't even plan more than one season out at a time means they have to come back to old threads and literally put in the show that it was a bad idea.

Reminds me a lot of what happened with Dune when someone else tried to carry the mantle and was convinced they were better.

I believe they shouldn't have even started the show before all the story was told. Although that doesn't mean I'm not enjoying it.

There are talks of someone trying to adapt the Kingkiller Chronicles as well, and I can imagine it will happen the same way. The author starts making money from the show and all the peripheral stuff and doesn't need to bother finishing the novels. :(

GRRM is going to die before he finishes, so that would not have worked out well.
