That's that watchamacallit, right? ... you know, from that thing ...

Gah! The Japanese show with the literal space battleship. Christ, can't think of it now, and I refuse to give in to the lure of Google/Wiki.

Yamamoto? Was that it?

Grawwww! Damnit. Must do less crack!

Space Battleship Yamato in Japan or Star Blazers to the gringos. The ship was the Argo in SB.

Same one I posted at Worm's a few weeks ago. This is the screen capture:

And this is what it really looks like (crappy 2mpix phone cam):

Personally I rarely if ever actually see my desktop.

Well, 宇宙戦艦ヤマト (Uchû Senkan Yamato), actually. ;)

I've never been the least bit interested in the thing, think I've seen maybe one or two episodes in the 23 years I've been over here. Just don't get it.

Leto II is gone for good, except for OM. The "pearl" was just that; a miniscule portion of what Leto was, and not a compressed version of the whole. The pearl that the worms have do not make them Leto, or in any way similar to him.

I watched the first US season of Ster Blazers and loved it. After that it started to suck and I never watched it again. But that first season was great.

scaling down to 600px (from 2560x1440) wide pretty much made it impossible to see any detail, but here's my 27in quad core i7 iMac:

As you might suspect, the desktop picture is a copy of a photo of the 27in iMac's innards as you would see them if the display were removed.

I'm combining my audiobooks on cd into extended files like you get from Audible using Audiobook Builder. You get to add your own cover art, I like the Bruce Pennington covers for the Dune novels.
