KJA Contributes to a book called "write good or die"!!

Post by Sandwurm88 »

HAHAHAHAHA THIS IS RICH!!!

http://kjablog.com/?p=767" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It's all the classics in this latest blog post! From the fact that Edge of the World is at the *top* of the mountain of nominated books for some Colorado book award in some poster, to the fact that KJA climbed *both* of the mountains in the background of the goddamn poster and apparently they were real toughies!!!!!

Wow, I'm starting to see why y'all hate the jackass...

Brilliant!
Maybe someone has a sense of humor...

Maybe the title of his contribution will be:
...And by "write", I mean "dictate. And by "good", I mean "on time".

I object, on behalf of both my native language, English, and of all REAL mountain climbers around the world, to this hack's misuse of the verb "climb".

I see in that poster that 'Edge of the World' is the chunkiest book shown - A photo of the authors would, no doubt, show likewise...

Chiggie, didn't you mention at Twatter that he's just recycling his "gold medal" essay, too? In other words, he's not even bothering with original content?

Yeah, it's more than obvious by his physique that by "climb" he meant "hike up as high as hikers go".

Either re-size it or delete it.

Just listened to a sample of "Barricade," on the new Roswell 6 album. All I have to say is: what the fuck was that?

lol why should we resize it. Who's the moron that posted a picture that big on a website in the first place. Leave it be!

Seriously, its 1800x1800. They just took the original promo pic and posted it directly on the site?

I didn't reread the whole thing or diff the texts, but I'm pretty sure he's just "contributed" that "Olumpic" blahg post. Which IIRC was a repost from somewhere else, wasn't it? (Will have a look later.)

Is it just me, or is the left end of that telescope on the CD cover clipped? Some amateurish Photoshopping there?

Edited to add: Connie Willis lives in Colorado, but I guess her latest novel was published too late to qualify for the award. Pity.

I guess Map of All Things won't be winning next year then.

I'm still very proud of The Quarry but … let's face it; in the end the real best way to sign off would have been with a great big rollicking Culture novel.

The images is over-sized for printing, the edges will be cut off, so that bit won't matter.

I won't mention the shadow - looks like he's been using the spray can from MSPAINT. :?
