Yep, still here.

We had two over the weekend, actually. The one Saturday was kinda fun, long in coming and then long gentle swaying "swells".

Evidently the epicenter both times was off the coast here in Fukushima and up to the north. No tsunami, though.

We have very few quakes in this area. Something about the mountain ranges and the type of rock. That's why they built several nuclear reactors up north. We usually get a 5000 yen refund on our electric bills every year because of them.

Nah, just a few honey rolls, maybe. :P

Earthquakes in Denmark ... kinda unusual, eh?

Don't let anathanisoianus over on FED2k hear about it, tho. He'll be on about "a great wind" and the end of the world again.

I wonder if it's the same one that was felt over here in the southern part of Sweden?

I doubt it – I think only people living near to the north western coast of Jutland felt anything, and I think that most of them must were confused if it was their own stomach rumbling.

Haha, maybe there was no Earthquake, maybe you had all just eaten some bad pølsers which caused your stomachs to growl.

I know my stomach doesn't like pølsers at least!

I've actually been pondering moving to Denmark if the opportunity arises in the future, getting sick of Sweden.

Hmm there’s not really much positive I can say about Denmark. We’re the “happiest” country in the world…besides that I don’t really have anything that good to say about this country. We were once Vikings but so were you so no biggie. I’ll advise Norway instead, lower taxes and higher salary.

ONE thing – prostitution is still legal in Denmark…sorta…well it’s not really legal as it’s not permitted as your only income yet the government still demand the whores to pay income taxes – which actually make the government a pimp – and that’s illegal (you’re not allowed to make money on other people having sex) what a paradox.

A funny side note is that porn IS legal…companies making money on other people having sex…god damn it the air is just thick of hypocrisy.

*edit:

I love how the threads wanders off topic all the time - from Chigger's 9000th post to earthquake to prostitution.

Yeah I know about all the things you say, the thing is just I'm so fed up with the extreme level of political correctness we have in Sweden, the minute you say something critical of muslims you get labeled as racist, or if you say you think stuff like "A woman shouldn't be allowed to bath at a bathing house if she has to wear full set of clothing(it happens here!) you get called a fascist.

I've been given the impression by Danes that in Denmark people aren't so obsessed about being politically correct.

And yes, wandering off-topic all the time is fun! I mean it's like driving a car, it's far more fun to drive a car on a forest road you barely know than on the main highway! Or something, I suck at analogies.

yea well there's a discussion in Denmark at the moment whether or not we should have a law against racism and blasphemy or not.

I can't say we're political correct..but to be honest who can be political correct in a democracy? if you don't have freedom of speech, you don't have democracy. That's my oppinion at least.

Xenophobia is another matter though and it's thriving in Denmark.
