Ms Manners Thang says...

"At a year-end dinner party it is always polite to answer in the affirmative when the host or hostess asks whether you think opening another bottle of wine is a good idea."

What plans do the rest of you have for New Year's mayhem? :D

Chicken nuggets, (yes there is a story behind it) sodas, chips and dip, and watching the ball drop on the TV with my brother-in-law and family.

I'm staying in, newyears is too much of a gong show out on the town. Might have a few people over, or just drink with the girl and room mates. Good food is also a must... maybe I'll whip up a big multi-dish north Indian feast or something.

I might have a bunch of mead ready to go too.

The big news around here, with our Oregon connections, is the Rose Bowl on the 1st. So we'll probably take it easy on the 31st ... you gotta pace yourself when you get older.

It should be a hell of game: our beloved Ducks versus the Poison Nuts from Ohio State.

Whoops. I meant The Ohio State University.

I'll be spending it at home with the family. Happy New Year!
And remember, if you get drunk and wreck stuff, always say it was the little green gremlins that made you do it.
