The way they said stuff in unison was just creepy. Like, alien-mind-control or come-join-our-cult creepy.

I'm still very proud of The Quarry but … let's face it; in the end the real best way to sign off would have been with a great big rollicking Culture novel.

I can't even listen to Becky. Literally can't do it. So I miss out on a lot of the video fun.

I'm just proud of Becky for leaving the house. Apparently, that doesn't happen a lot.

I hope they're both infinitely more annoying in private than they come across as in public and that they cause each other's sphincters to clench in exasperation at least fifty times a day.

There's probably some truth in that. Remember, this is the couple that has separate "writing rooms" on opposite ends of the house for when they need to "decompress." (Although why Becky would need a room to write in is a mystery ...)

Emotionally, both of them strike me as being about 12 years old. Maybe 13.

(Anyone care to propose a pronunciation for the thing? Just an alternative spelling for "yoo"? Or something like "I-poo" or "EE-poo"?)
