Dream Art.

I've decided to try and portray my dreams in photographs.

Here is my first attempt: "Out, damn'd spot!"

Love the sig Nymph.

Interesting photo, but what were you dreaming of my dear?
The first thing that popped into my mind was dismembering a body. Then again, you know my mind is weird.

It does look like you might have some very interesting dreams.

Look forward to more.

seriously fucking impressive.

in concept, composition, & execution.

put the studio watermark inside the toilet edge

needs one bright spot of color - bright red hair,
or B&W the body & make the shirt bright yellow striped

you should move to Austin

Were you wearing the same thing?

I saw it briefly last night, but I can't see it now at work. Interesting image, Nymphitz. You didnt do multiple exposures, did you?

Nice :)

The flesh-tone has gotten a little muddy - maybe warm it up a tad and give it a bit more of a punch. Seriously liking the repeated hands/arms though :D

Thanks! It was part of the idea you triggered yesterday on Facebook... I've started a graphic comic. So I should be thanking you! Thanks Lady.

It is much easier to explain/understand as a photograph. I don't think I can sum it up with words very well... I'll let your minds spin on what played out in the dream.

About the shot:
The bizarre outfit/mask and haunting castings are meant to show a split personality; feeling of emotion.
The multiple layers of arms depicts a feeling of guilt. A treacherous act is never just once. The guilt makes it play out over, and over again.

Thanks for the suggestions SandRider and DunFish. :)

It's all the same shot. (With the exception of an arm placed in tub.)

I don't know where this photographic style has come from, it's a completely new look for me. I'm glad it is going over well. :geek:

Very cool. I'm not goo with impressionistic art, but that is pretty damn awesome.

There's a lot of talent on this forum, it's always impressed me. :)

Great pic. So how does this work, you make a picture out of a dream you had?

Initially that's how it started. The series has tangled stories of life, events and dreams all mushed together to reflect a question or thought. I hope that makes sense, it was a little difficult to put into words.
