Glad to know they're still making them...I loved the first one when I was a kid.
I'm a fairly active gamer, but I have no idea what you would call that style of game...they really don't make them anymore. It was halfway between action and RPG, but with text commands. Anyone know what the technical name for that is?

I never finished Day of the tentacle but it is a humorous landmark like Monkey Island and Sam & Max.
I love the first 3 monkey island games so much:
Check a Vampyre Story another great humorous adventure game.

As much as I like CMI, I honestly loved LeChuck's Revenge the best. Had some of the best in 16-bit graphics, available!

Monkey Island, SpaceQuest, Leisure suit larry, etc.. adventure game category. Played them all and enjoyed them for the most part:)

Never played it, but King's Quest was always my thing. I still have King's Quest V: Absence Makes the Heart Go Yonder! and King's Quest VI: Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow on floppy.

I had one of the King's Quest games on the 5 inch floppies. Good times, when it actually decided to work. Eric the Unready's a good one, too.

Tried for about an hour to get WINE to run this game.
Got past the serial, and then -- white screen! YAY!
Oh well. I loved the MI series, I played Secret and Revenge a few years ago, and got Curse back in the day when 256 was hott!
