On second thought, I'd tell them to keep the money and that I'd do it for an admission of inaccuracies and inconsistancies by KJA and BH.

I guess it just depends on how much you might need the money, Chig. I don't think anyone here would hold it against you if you decided to take it. When it comes to money all bets are off. Like others, I don't envy you in this decision, but you have done much already.....more than anyone for the cause. My only advice would be to counter offer for more up front.

If it's a shagload of money - it might be worth it. You've been prominently front-of-house for so long there is now this "one guy" perception - Opening up the field a bit could kill that myth a bit

(...and I'm sure you could of course still brief against KJA behind the scenes

)

On the other hand, if it's anything less than a shagload - tell them to forcibly insert it where the sun don't shine

Personally, if it was anything less than medium to high five digits I wouldn't even consider it, but I don't need much money to get by happily, and I know some people definitely can use whatever they can get their hands on.
