Scotty wore a red shirt. He'd get bleeding tanked in the engine room and still made it to the VIIth movie.

That's just because The Shat was into him (but only when he wore his manskirt, it must be said) and they had to keep him on.

And that was the main cause of George Takei's enduring rancor. :P

Na, I think I got the gist of it fine, I was merely rolling with the implication that after a long career of doing nothing but getting pissed (how Scottish), Scotty was killed off.
