Part of my dream this morning was that instead of a faithful, epic adaptation of Dune, the HLP opted for a children's direct-to-video.

I often dream of fighting with my wife and having sex with other women.

I want to dream of other women having sex with your wife! :P

Nevermind.

A "more muscular" direct-to-video children's adaptation?

Thunder Clap of the Crashing Beefcake of Dune?! :D

Last night I drempt I was Master Shake from Aqua Teen Hunger Force and was chasing Bobo and McJacket through a high-rise construction site. McJacket fell and I looked down to see him being escorted away by police. Unfortunatly, I awoke just before I found Bobo.

I woke up in a wonderfull mood! :D

While this is bumped...
1. Do you dream? If so, how often? (Yeah, I know a lot of times we might dream but just don’t remember them once we wake up. Still I would like to read your thoughts on the matter.)
It depends on how stressed out I am. If there's a lot going on I dream a lot. sometime multiple different dreams in the same night. I think I dream all the time, but I don't remember, and am not haunted by the little ones. I also suffer from insomnia sometimes for weeks at a time. Sometimes because I'm afraid that I'll dream. I read all night sometimes.
2. Are your dreams detailed: i.e. dreaming in color, do they include sounds, smells, and touch sensations that you can recall after you awaken?

Absolutely. Although, often I get details from something the next day, like will trigger a little flashback of a dream. I've had some really serious Déjà Vu moments where I have the distinct impression that I've dreamed the exact experience I'm having. The strange ones are ones where I'll live out a couple months and wake up to this strange reality.
3. Are your dreams weird or strange?
Yes, if the last one didn't answer that. I've had some very strange, very epic, and very disturbing dreams. I'm even still haunted by a nightmare I once had when I was 4 years old and I'm 28.
4. Can you read in your dreams? (I have someone say that they could not. That was how they would know they were dreaming. The letters made no sense)
This just makes me think of an old Batman the Animated series episode. Where the Mad Hatter trapped Batman in a dream, but batman figured it out because dreaming and reading take different sides of the brain to do. I think that's malarkey. I've had the impression of reading while dreaming, but language is strange there. More on that later, and yes, I refer to dreams as places.
5. How do your dreams play out for you? Is it like watching a movie or just strictly viewed from the first person perspective?
Yes.
6. Do you have repeat dreams?
Both recurring and continuing. When I was eleven I had a series of dreams where all the adults had died and Boys and girls were fighting each other for control of the world. That took all summer to play out.
7. Can you return to the same dream if you are awaken in the middle of it?
Sometimes. Depends on how awake I get. If I know I'm trying to get back, it's usually very hard. Sometimes toward the end of a night I'll get the awareness of dreaming, and I can start to have an almost god-like power there. But those dreams usually slip away quickly.
8. For those who can speak multiple languages, do you dream in your native language or in a mixture of the languages you know?
Language is strange in dreams for me. I'm often just aware of things. I speak a little Japanese, but I have a close friend who's half Japanese and she speaks it at home. Although it's much to fast and I'm missing half the vocabulary I just understand her, because I know her so well. I only catch half what her mother says, but everything she says is crystal. That's how dreams seem to work for me. I don't really hear or read anything, I just understand or don't understand things.

Sometimes I feel dreams come from me, and other times I feel they do not. Dreams and Music are two major reasons I believe there's a God. They're not the kind of things you can successfully argue about either. I can't tell someone a song sucks if it speaks to them, and dreams are similarly as personal. Also I want to plug Neil Gaiman's The Sandman here, just because that guy gets dreams right most of the time. great fantasy.

Questions:

Have you ever had a dream where somebody who was in that dream had the same dream too?

Have you ever had a dream that came true, and how detailed was it?

Have you ever had a dream that you felt like continued on after you awoke and left it?

Have you ever had a dream change your perspective on real life?

No matter how hard I try, I can never get back into that Cheerleader Squad Gang Bang dream I was just woken up from.

Might as well contribute:
Eyes High wrote:1. Do you dream? If so, how often? (Yeah, I know a lot of times we might dream but just don’t remember them once we wake up. Still I would like to read your thoughts on the matter.)
Every night. I'll usually remember a couple of them. I keep a little notebook beside my bed and write down a few words about them (plot, people, mood/feeling). Good for short stories.

2. Are your dreams detailed: i.e. dreaming in color, do they include sounds, smells, and touch sensations that you can recall after you awaken?
Yes. Color, not so much smell (that I can remember) One time I dreamed I was shot in the leg, and awoke to a burning sensation.

3. Are your dreams weird or strange?
Depends on the dream.

4. Can you read in your dreams? (I have someone say that they could not. That was how they would know they were dreaming. The letters made no sense)
Little things, like street signs or notes or computer screens. Not sure about novels or clocks.

5. How do your dreams play out for you? Is it like watching a movie or just strictly viewed from the first person perspective?
Most are first person, but not like a playing a PC game. I don't feel as though it's scripted. Some start out like I'm watching a TV show and then morph into first-person.

6. Do you have repeat dreams?
Not repeat sequences, but repeat locations. One is this little community somewhere removed and another is an old downtown department building.

7. Can you return to the same dream if you are awaken in the middle of it?
If I wake up completely, then no. If I do manage to return, it's not like a direct continuation.

8. For those who can speak multiple languages, do you dream in your native language or in a mixture of the languages you know?
Sometimes Latin is involved. People often speak different languages in my dreams. Sometimes I can even speak a foreign language that I am unable to in real-life.

I achieve lucid dreams very infrequently, but when I do, it's always fun. Same thing with flying; although flying for me usually involves artificial means, like a jet-pack or anti-gravity. I always like dreams where I'm drifting out in space.

I once dreamt I rigged a walk-behind lawn mower to fly and was buzzing around the neigborhood.

Usually I can fly myself though, or jump really far, like the Hulk.

I had something like this in high school: this girl was in my dream, and when I talked to her about it the next morning, she revealed that I was in hers too (not the same dream, so I guess we just made guest appearances).

Anyone ever have a dream where they wake up, go about the beginning of your day, and then wake up again for real?

A few months ago I had that dream every 'morning' for a couple of weeks.

It got really really annoying. :?

1- I do dream, but it's very rare that I actually remember them.

2- When I do remember them, they're very vivid, much more so than real life sometimes.

3- Incredibly weird. Not sexual or gross or anything like that, just...weird. Things in my dreams don't make sense at all. Think of a surreal painting and you pretty much have the idea.

4- Don't know if I can read in my dreams or not...it hasn't ever come up!

5- I vary between first person/third person perspective. If a dream starts one way, it stays that way till it's over.

6- I used to have repeat dreams when I was younger, but it hasn't happened in a long time.

7- Nope. Once it's gone, it's gone.

8- I know enough Spanish to be functional, but it has never occurred in a dream of mine. It doesn't seem like it ever will, unless I become more fluent.

Questions:

Have you ever had a dream where somebody who was in that dream had the same dream too?

Have you ever had a dream that came true, and how detailed was it?

Have you ever had a dream that you felt like continued on after you awoke and left it?

Have you ever had a dream change your perspective on real life?

I am unaware of the subject of one of my dreams having the same dream or even dreaming of me on the same night.

I don't believe I have ever dreamed a dream that came true, I have had experiences that seemed deja vu and reminded me of a dream that I had before, but not to the point where it could be counted as 'coming true.'

unsure about that third question. Never thought about it honestly.

Yes. A dream was so 'realistic' that it stuck with me afterwards.

Did that several times in highschool, but don't think I've done so lately.

Last night I had a dream that I was in a foursome with three women, one of them had extremely long nipples.
