Well ... if she was drunk, she's been drunk every time I've seen her on TV, 'cause that's how she always acts.
I have heard of only one mistake that doesn’t have an explanation for a careful reader...with an open mind. (And, no, I’m not going to tell you what it is!) —KJA

I don't like every writer's style; for instance, I have never been able to get through Ursula LeGuin, China Mieville, or Iain Banks, all of whom are critical darlings. —KJA

I...had written a bunch of Star Wars and X-Files books...that proved not just that I'm a hack, but that I could write in somebody else's universe... —KJA

To celebrate the New Year, I brought some Sparkling Water of Life for all of you! Wait a moment... Uh, no, correction. This stuff is meant for the Bene Gesserit Jacurutians. My mistake. Don't want to have a repeat of the last Fremen New Year's Party

Here is what I meant to bring. Ginger Spice Ale. Tastes like soda with too much cinnamon, but by the time your finished, you'll swear that you were Folding Space in your living room. So Happy New Year, my crazy and ever lovable brethren! (Drinks the Sparkling Water of Life by mistake, convulses, than comes back to life with a crazed expression) FOR I AM THE KWISATZ HADERACH! No, wait a moment. No, false alarm. I definitely died of Water of Life intolerance. (Falls down dead again, but then gets up again) Happy New Year! (Falls back dead. Body is taken to have its water processed and filtered).

ever notice how Jabecca only seems to show up when Chig's around ?

like she's stalking him, or something ...

but she must be real shy, they never seem to be online at the same time ...

We pride ourselves with the fact that the Fremen womenfolk of our sietch are stealthier and more mysterious than the male Fremen. The Imperium is unable to make a census of the lady Fremen of Jacurutu. They all think that there are but few wandering here and there. My lord SandRider, I suspect a deep secret has been kept on this forum. That the lady Jacurutians exist in vast numbers. Vast. And it is they... who control... Jacurutu.

Friends! FRIENDS! This is Jacurutu! Not the Arrakian Light District! Come, now! Let us all drink some of this Sparkling Water of Life, and test out messianic potential for the New Year!

The effects of Sparkling Water of Life are said to be even more lethal than virgin Water of Life. Let's see if these bickering Fremen can tell the difference.

... Uh oh. Did I say that, or did I think it? Was I talking? Could they hear me?
