Protecting our primitive descendants
In 10,000 years, how will we keep our descendants from digging up toxic waste and killing themselves? Apparently environmental groups and concerned committees have pressed the government to protect our descendants, primitive or advanced, from our current radioactive experiments. Specialists from different groups, including sociologists, linguists, historians, future-historians, and artists have been drawn together for the single purpose of deterring people from investigating our possibly still-dangerous ruins.

Re: Protecting our primitive descendants
What happens to OTHER PEOPLE's descendants 10,000 years from now is of absolutely NO concern to me whatsoever.
(And it would serve the idiots right for still beING stuck here. )
Edit: The comments "Do you speak Neanderthal?" and "Have you seen any words in Proto-Indo-European?" are excellent! A new vein of prime cut stupid.

SandChigger, are you not in this for the species, and absolutely if we're not off this ball of mud in 10,000 years we completely deserve all we (them) get.

In 10,000 years Scotland will be completely covered in a layer of congealed deep-fat fried Mars bar and broken Buckfast bottles.
