You know what, I think at some point in time, perhaps sooner rather than later, you are going to have to admit that Fantomas has not only more staying power than you though, but rolls with punches well, and can get his own in too, both in attack and defense. Fantomas seems quite formidable to me.

In memory of Perach, who suffered and died needlessly.

I wish I could have been with you that one last time.

Nonsense, Omphalos, utter nonsense!

I feel not even the slightest urge to admit any such thing.

Nor am I given to praising the dumb rocks of my garden for not moving. ;)

Back on topic, opened a thread on the Warspike forum about the idea of a Dune Augment. Main themes revolve human vs. human combat, hand to hand combat and desert warfare. Decided to move to the original Dune novel as a basis for the game so that players could re-enact the Dune novel sort of speak, but also from other sides. So for example you could also play a campaign in which the Harkonnens try to keep a hold on Arrakis or as a Sardaukar unit wiping out Atreides house troops or a Fremen camp in the south, or whatever.

While the outcome of the war is already known Warspike could offer players the chance to come with a very different outcome (for example the Harkonnens actually killing Paul Atreides for example) which of course isn't canon. If we got this worked out we could perhaps also move to other stuff since...well I would love to try out playing with a bunch of Face Dancers for example or perhaps re-enact Paul's Jihad. The only thing I'm a bit worried about is that I might also have to look into the crap that Brian and his evil henchman Kevin wrote since those books tend to be more focussed around conflicts/wars... Or maybe...I dunno man! :(

Sure they tend towards action, but Star Wars action, not Dune action.

You could still include other environments, like the Atreides suicide raid on the Harkonnen's secret spice hoards on Giedi Prime(?).
