I forgot to do that. I'd already posted most of the pages and was like "ah crap, I should have put a heads up first thing". Is their any way to insert one or would I have to go through bump every post down once and repost everything?

You could maybe go in with a database tool and insert a new original post, but I've never tried it and I wouldn't really advise it...it might screw things up boardwide...which we definitely don't want.

How about posting the disclaimer before the first image in the OP (you can go back and edit it) and the first comment at the top of each new page? That shouldn't be too much trouble.

Wow simon that's some very good work. I'm not much of a comic reader these days but when I was most of the work published was black and white, 2000AD prog 1-700, so I can relate to what you're doing. Are you intending to work purely in B&W? Is it pencil and pen you use, will you be introducing any charcoal perhaps.

Much respect (i can't draw a straight line).

It is pencil then pen. I'm actually going to introduce some watercolor,black and white for now at least. Then at some point (many moons from now) I want to digitize it and paint it with color using the adobe program. Charcoal is an idea though. I have the strangest feeling that before the end of this thing the whole look will be a bit different than these early chapters. I'm always figuring out new stuff as far as my "comic panel flow" goes. Also with the introduction of water color and potentially charcoal, it could drasticlly effect the look. All for the better I hope

I actually have an unfinished Waff pic I did in ink (it's just his upper chest shoulders and head). I'll start a "Sketches" thread here soon and I'll post it in there.

Nah, you guys are fine in the sketches thread. It'd probably be best to leave them there as they'd be closer to the picture the comment is relevant to

As for Waff, that picture (as conceived) is of him going to Sietch Tabar with Darwi and Sheena, hence his "Haj wear" and disheveled look

Oh yeazz, update! Finished Chapter three's pencil work, on to the inking!

It looks like some of your most detailed work yet, how long have you been drawing? Do you have any interest in making it your career?

Nice! Am I correct in assuming you draw alot of the design style from the Lynch movie?
Some of the designs are really not what I've imagined, but no one imagines the same anyway.

But I think something like this is more suitable for 'thopters.


Don't know who made this, I think I got it from 'Keen a long time ago, but I think it's a very good interpentation of 'thopters(I'd rather have it a bit more rectangularish though, to make it look less smooth and advanced, grittier).

This is great, very close to how I imagined a thopter ever since first reading Dune. Although I pictured it in another colour
