Very nice Dune-esque webcomic

Post by TheDukester »

Normally, I wouldn't give a random webcomic its own thread, but I think this one merits some attention. It's simple but effective. It captures the spirit of Dune, along with the joy of simply finding a good book (any good book) and getting really into it.

That was a nice touch. It was enough to convince me that this guy "gets" Dune (or, again, gets what it's like to really be absorbed by any book).

Definitely.

I'm still very proud of The Quarry but … let's face it; in the end the real best way to sign off would have been with a great big rollicking Culture novel.

I have no idea what's going on in the pic.

I'm frightened.

yuk!
but in this case the hack is a ball sack so that's a bit of a paradox lol

Or better yet, bobo's the nut to the hack's sack
