Terminology check:

For this boardware:

The whole thing is the board.

The big divisions (like "Aschlan, Wasachlan!" or "Dune Discussion") are categories.

Their subdivisions (like "Introduce Yourself!") are forums.

Individual threads inside forums are topics.

Are you sure that your profile is configured correctly? "Always Notify Me Of Replies" needs to be toggled to yes.

And when you post in a thread, are you sure that the default is clicked on so that you get mails? The "Notify Me When a Reply Is Posted" box down below of the dialogue box you fill in when you post needs to be checked, even if your profile is checked off correctly too.

You also can click on "Watch This Topic For Replies" link at the bottom of the page, and you will get e-mails.

Alright, Simon, ya cheeze dick, listen up here.

I just signed on as ragabash and checked your screens. Under your PROFILE, you do have all the correct bubbles turned on. So you are good to go there.

However, each time you have made a post, you are making a big mistake. Once you hit the "Reply" button, you are of course presented with a box to enter your posts. Down below that box is a seires of five (5) check boxes, starting with "Disable HTML in this post" and ending with "Notify me when a reply is posted."

Starting to get the hint?

This box must be checked, or no matter what your profile says, you will not get replies. Check it the next time you post a reply, and make sure it is checked from then onwards. I believe checking it once will make it your default, but just check a few times to make sure.

Furthermore, at the bottom of each TOPIC, there is a link that says "Watch This Topic for Replies." You may click that at any time, and get the e-mails you want.

This is, IIRC at least the second and probably the third time I have posted these instructions here, so if you dont follow them this time, youre on your own.

Oh, and Hotmail sucks. It bounces stuff like those e-mails, so you may want to switch to something less useless.

Sadly no, I knew what to do, it's all the same as Dunenovels, just no go.
It may well be hotmail's doing.... but since it's a free account, I guess I got what I paid for

Its not Hotmail. I have used nothing but Hotmail accounts for my dune forums and never had an issue. You certainly want to double check that your account isn't considering it spam.

Were at wit's end now. I dont think that there is going to be anything else we can do to fix it. Everything looks right, and the mail server is functioning properly.

OK, when I click on Watch this Topic for Replies, I get e-mails whenever someone does reply.
