Posting problem

Is it just me, or is there some strange connection problem that happens every single time I post?

I can post a reply, but my window sits there forever, like it's still trying to submit the post. If I try again, a double post results. But if I just interrupt it and reload the page, all of the sudden my post is there. It's like I've lost my internet connection, but it only happens here at Jacurutu.

It's been happening to me to. I've been noticing a lot of double posts.

Omph, any ideas?

It only seems to happen after I've been away for a while, after it happens I can post normally.

I noticed it too. The servers are fine, and even if there is a shit load of lag time, your posts are going up immediately. Even if you get the blue screen, the post made it. It is a network problem, not a server issue. Somewhere on the internet is a big log jam today. Nothing that can be done from our end.

I turned the flood intervals up from 5 to 15 seconds as a guess.

:?:

OK. T(A)U is now being affected too. I got my crack team of monkeys on it again. Little bro thinks he may have too much stuff running on his servers. He's not sure what the problem is, but he's looking at it right now. Its weird because the problem is that little bit at the end where you are supposed to be getting a response. But he is on it now.

It wasn't doing this at the beginning, so whatever has been changed since is probably connected somehow.

(The flood interval Freak mentioned just keeps people [read: spammers] from posting rapid-fire, multiple messages. It probably did not have to be raised.)

Maybe, but it seems to be hit or miss for me.

It only happens for me on Private Messages.

It hasn't happened to me since I changed that, may be coincidence.

Nope. You mean that when you send a PM, it is not appearing in the outbox (as opposed to the sentbox) for 6-7 hours?

Precisely, if not more :(, but they do get sent eventually.

Hmmmm. Sounds like an odd problem whose cause will fight to remain undiscovered. But Ill look into it.
