There has been no network changes. You may have jimmied your cache settings, or told your browser to reload from scratch. Have you updated your browser or been infected with/had to clean a virus lately?

no problems here.

sounds like one of them "cache & cookie" things .....

but while we're at it, I've be annoyed at a lack of a
"First New Post" link - I'm one of those "sight readers" or
whatever it's called - alot of times I click "last new post"
and can't help but absorbing a part of that last post and
others as I scroll back up trying to find where I left off -
lots of good jokes and surprises get spoiled.

plus, I've missed posts that were on the previous page.

I've got a feeling that "First New Post" probably isn't an option
on this board. Maybe some of that there add-on code ?

I personally feel that this message board, Jacurutu, is full of hateful folks who don't know
how to fully interact with people.

Kind of the same here. I've learned to just look for the last time my pic shows in the thread and read on from there. Especially if it is a very active thread. That is about the only way I can keep half-way up with y'all.

I just click on the orange "new post icon" next to the topic title to get to the first new post, though if I'm not dexterous enough  I'll end up hitting the topic title instead.

it's not going to the "first new post" tho, it goes to the "newest post",
i.e. "last new post" ....

Did you click the thumbnail in my last post to see what I mean? For me it goes to the "first new post."

The one on the right links to the latest post (the last one in the thread), the one on the left links to the newest, as in newest unread. Once you've viewed the thread and someone else posts, that newest button will still take you to the same post, unless close your browser and start over. If you don't open the forum, you only have the latest post option (does that make sense?).

Here's a picture of what I'm talking about. lol.. photobucket has thought bubbles!

I could be a problem with the skin you're using. The skins I have on here are free downloads and I have not tested them.

I think he uses subBlack which is why I switched to it to make the screencap. The buttons work on all the skins I've tried so far.

that's what I thought Tlerzer was telling me, and no,
that's not working with the subblack skin. Both those links
goto the last new post.

good clarification, tho, thank you.

it's not screwing up at T(A)U for me but i've refreshed my bookmarks and everything and i keep having to sign in each time.
I did way back and just quit using the auto login. It works for me on T(A)U, but not here. I never figured out why.

It might be the particular skin. Not sure, but there are no issues on this side.

Thanks Tleszer and Mandy. I'm ashamed to say I never paid attention to the thing on the left. That helps a lot.
