Greetings, Iduali!

This is the first Dune messageboard I'm signing up since 2002 or so. One or two of you might recognise me from Fed2K.

So, uuhm, where do you keep your sandtrout?

Welcome to the forum.

Is your chosen name out of an interest in the band, or the meaning of the word?

Howdy! Welcome aboard. (And don't ask Orald where he keeps his "sandtrout"--we try not to encourage him  )

Howdy Ho!!

Your last name wouldn't be "Device" perchance?

Thanks for the welcome :)

I don't remember how I picked the word up originally but I started using it a couple of years ago on Fed2K because I thought it was neat (seems fitting for "The Cast Out" too)
I didn't know it was a band name as well.

Ah, fair enough. The band are very good. Going to go see them in September.

Leto closed his eyes. The hordes within wanted to argue, but he shut them off,
thinking: Jihads create armies. The Butlerian Jihad tried to rid our universe of
machines which simulate the mind of man. The Butlerians left armies in their
wake and the lxians still make questionable devices . . . for which I thank
them. What is anathema? The motivation to ravage, no matter the instruments.
